Last Weekly News!

We have had so much fun this past last week! The kids have been playing fun games, reading our favorite books, and working on fun projects. We read through all of our old writing tests and the kids were AMAZED at how much they have grown in writing. We even visit a first grade classroom and learned all about what first grade will be like. I'm sure you have noticed everything came home this past Friday - please take a moment to look through how much your child has grown! Also, thank you to the Dads that were able to join us on Friday! We had a great morning with you!

Only 3 more days left! Here is what we'll be doing:

Monday, June 9th: PJ and Game Day. We are having a fun and relaxing day in the classroom. Come in your PJs! We will have fun reading our favorite library books and playing our favorite games all day! We will also celebrate summer birthdays on this day. 

Tuesday, June 10th: BSC Field Day. We are having a school FIELD DAY with all of kindergarten, first grade, and TK friends! We will rotate through fun centers outside and we will also have a special assembly to attend. Please wear sunscreen because we will be outside for awhile! If you would like to help at our field day, please plan on arriving at 9:30 to help set up. We will need at least 4-5 helpers from 9:45-10:45. Thank you so much for your support!

Wednesday, June 11th: Last Day of Kindergarten Celebration. We will have a very special last day of school KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM CELEBRATION on this day. Please plan on joining us at 11:00 in our classroom to make this a very special celebration for your child! We will sing a special song, read our last book together as a class, look through our memory books, and watch our "Kindergarten Movie".

It has been a wonderful year! I have enjoyed having each and every one of you in kindergarten and I will miss you SO MUCH! Have a wonderful summer and please stop by and visit when you are big FIRST GRADERS!

Weekly News: June 2-6

I cannot believe that it is our last full week of kindergarten together. We have been working SO HARD on our learning this year that we would like to enjoy our last 8 days together doing fun end-of-the-year projects, playing games, reading our favorite books together, and writing about everything we have learned in kindergarten and how much we have grown! 

Thank you so much to all of the parent helpers who stopped by this week to prep for us! We really appreciate all of the hard work :) 

There will be no more book bags coming home this week and this will be our LAST WEEK for folders and our class bank. On Friday, your kiddos are coming home with a LARGE BROWN BAG filled with all of our kindergarten work, folders, fluency, poems, writing portfolios, projects, etc. We are also visiting the class store one last time on Friday {everything is on sale!} and spending all of our money on goodies! 

Do not forget to save these important end-of-the-year dates: 

Friday, June 6th: Donuts with Dads. Dads, if you are able, please plan on joining us at 8:10 on this date for a quick donut with your child and a presentation of a special Father's Day gift for you! This will be no longer than 30 minutes. If you are not able to attend, we would love to have grandpa, uncle, or another special "dad"!

Wednesday, June 11th: Last Day of Kindergarten Celebration. We will have a very special last day of school KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM CELEBRATION on this day. We invite you to join us at 11:00 as we sing a special song, read our last book together as a class, look through our memory books, and watch our "Kindergarten Movie". We will also be having our big end of the school year assembly at 8:10 on this morning, so mark your calendars for a full day of events!!
